Serum metabolic profiling of late-pregnant women with antenatal depressive symptoms
Overall design
In this study, liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry-based metabolomics platforms were used to conduct serum metabolic profiling of antenatal depression and non-antenatal depression. Sixty participants were recruited, subjects with an Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) >= 10 were defined as antenatal depression subjects (antenatal depression group, n = 20), whereas the non-antenatal depression group subjects with EPDS < 10 (non-antenatal depression group, n = 40).
