Overall design

The aim of this study was to investigate the landscapes of bacterial and metabolic signatures and their interaction in major depressive disorders. A total of 118 patients with major depressive disorder (MDD group) and 118 healthy controls (control group) were recruited. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)-based fecal metabolomics analysis was performed.
