Title | A unique insight for energy metabolism disorders in depression based on chronic unpredictable mild stress rats using stable isotope-resolved metabolomics |
Overall design | In this study, the stable isotope-resolved metabolomics (SIRM) technology was applied to the chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) model of depression. Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into the following 2 groups (n = 10 in each group): (1) control group, and (2) CUMS group. The CUMS stress procedure lasted for 4 weeks. Hydrophilic metabolites and hydrophobic metabolites were extracted through different solvents and separated on the reverse-phase column (T3) and the normal-phase column (HILIC). |
