Title | Plasma acetylcholine and nicotinic acid are correlated with focused preference for photographed females in depressed males: an economic game study |
Overall design | The aim of this study was to investigate major depressive disorder (MDD) patients’ trusting behaviors and preference for others using our PC-based trust game, and is to explore the biological basis by evaluating blood biomarkers. A total of 38 drug-free MDD patients (MDD group) were selected for the present study, and 38 healthy subjects were selected as healthy controls (control group). Plasma metabolome analysis was performed for all subjects by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). |
