Title

A metabolomic study on the gender-dependent effects of maternal exposure to fenvalerate on neurodevelopment in offspring mice

Overall design

The aim of this study was to identify the effects of maternal exposure to fenvalerate on neurodevelopment in offspring mice. Pregnant ICR mice were randomly divided into 2 groups, including the control group and the fenvalerate group (fenvalerate 30 mg/kg/day, gavage, from D8 to D18 during pregnancy). Thirty-five-day old ICR offsprings (fenvalerate-treated offspring group and control offspring group, male: female = 1: 1) were tested for forced swimming test. Serum and thyroid samples were used for metabonomic analysis.
