Title

Changes of altruistic behavior and kynurenine pathway in late-life depression

Overall design

The aim of this study was to whether the levels of metabolites in kynurenine pathway (KP) and white matter (WM) network topological features would influence the altruistic behavior in late-life depression patients. Thirty-four late-life depression patients (late-life depression group) and 36 heathy controls (control group) were included. Serum concentrations of kynurenine pathway metabolites were detected by the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method.
