Title | Artificial intelligence based discovery of the association between depression and chronic fatigue syndrome |
Overall design | The aim of this study was to identify candidate biomarkers of depression and chronic fatigue syndrome. A total of 295 general participants were recruited to complete Zung Self-Rating Depression Scales and Chalder Fatigue Scales. Forty-one male depression patients (male depression group), 120 male non-depression participants (male control group), 56 female depression patients (female depression group), and 78 female non-depression participants (female control group) were recruited. Plasma and urine samples were used for H NMR-metabolic profiling. |
