Title | Antidepressant-like activity and modulation of brain monoaminergic transmission by blockade of anandamide hydrolysis |
Overall design | The aim of this study was to examine the impact of URB597 on emotional and hedonic behavior. Rats received single (0.1 mg/kg, i.p.) or repeated injections (0.1 mg/kg, i.p., once daily for 4 days) of URB597. Forced swim test (FST) was conducted to test the antidepressant-like activity of URB597. Brain regions of Wistar rats were dissected, and endocannabinoids were quantified by HPLC-mass spectrometry. |
