Title

Targeting PDK2 rescues stress-induced impaired brain energy metabolism

Overall design

The aim of this study was to identify potential differentially expressed metabolites in the frontal cortex and serum of chronic social defeat stress (CSDS) mice model of depression. C57BL/6J mice were divided into the following 2 groups: (1) control group, and (2) CSDS group. The CSDS stress procedure lasted for 10 days. Frontal cortex and serum samples were used for metabonomic analysis (n = 12/group).
