Screening of SERT and p11 mRNA levels in airline pilots: a translational approach

Overall design

The aim of this study was to measure the serum levels of serotonin in airline pilots compared to depressed patients and healthy volunteers. For serum serotonin quantification, 18 depressed patients (depression group) and 7 healthy volunteers (control group) were included in this analysis.
