Title

The comparison of nucleotide metabolites and amino acids patterns in patients with eating disorders, with and without symptoms of depression

Overall design

The aim of this study was to examine the plasma amino acids in eating disorders with hyperphagia, with and without major depressive disorder (MDD). Samples were taken from adult persons suffering from eating disorders with MDD (eating disorders with MDD group, n= 20) and without (eating disorders without MDD group, n= 17). Plasma amino acids concentrations were analyzed with high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
