Title | A reliable high-throughput screening model for antidepressant |
Overall design | In this study, the authors established the chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) model and reserpine model in mice and zebrafish, respectively. The effects of CUMS and reserpine were preliminarily analyzed through behavioral tests and brain pathology sections, and then compared metabolic differences through metabolomics. C57BL/6 mice were divided into the following 2 groups: (1) control group, and (2) CUMS group. The CUMS stress procedure lasted for 7 weeks. Eight brain samples per group were used for metabonomic analysis. |
