Title | Endogenous n-3 PUFAs attenuated olfactory bulbectomy-induced behavioral and metabolomic abnormalities in Fat-1 mice |
Overall design | This study used wild type and Fat-1 mice with or without olfactory bulbectomy to explore whether endogenous n-3 PUFA treatment of depression was through rectifying lipid metabolism, and to discover the possible lipid metabolic pathways. C57BL/6 mice were divided into the following 2 groups (n = 5 in each group): (1) control group, and (2) olfactory bulbectomy group. After surgical procedure, mice were recovered for 21 days. Metabolomic changes in the serum were identified by liquid chromatography-time-of-flight mass spectrometry. |
