Title

Disturbances of phosphatidylcholines metabolism in major depressive disorder

Overall design

The aim of this study was to capture the potential lipid metabolites in plasma for major depressive disorder (MDD) diagnostic approach. A total of 42 drug-naive MDD patients (MDD group) and 49 healthy individuals (control group) were recruited. Lipid metabolism-related molecules in plasma were measured by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
