Title

Multi-omics analysis reveals BDE47 induces depression-like behaviors in mice by interfering with the 2-arachidonoyl glycerol-associated microbiota-gut-brain axis

Overall design

The aim of this study was to clarify the effect of BDE47 on depression in mice. C57BL/6 mice were divided into the following 2 groups: (1) control group, and (2) BDE47 exposure group. Mice in the BDE47 exposure group were administered with 25 mg/kg dose of BDE47 by gavage every other day for 30 days. The results showed that BDE47 exposure increased depression-like behaviors in mice. Then intestinal contents were used for metabolomic analyses (n = 3 in each group).
