Overall design | In this study, a convenient LC-MS/MS method was established for enantioseparation and quantification of multiple amino acids in human serum. Blood samples of non-depressed controls (control group, n = 35) and late-life depression patients (late-life depression group, n = 40) were obtained. The LC-MS/MS method was used to determine the enantiomer specific amino acid profiles in serum samples from these late-life depression patients and nondepressed controls. |
