Title

High-resolution magic-angle spinning-1H-NMR spectroscopy-based metabolic profiling of hippocampal tissue in rats with depression-like symptoms

Overall design

High-resolution magic-angle spinning-1H-NMR (HRMAS-1H-NMR) spectroscopy was utilized to comprehensively analyze the changes in metabolites in the hippocampal tissue of rats exposed to chronic stress via multi-step principal component analysis (multi-step PCA). Rats were divided into 2 groups (n = 6 in each group): (1) control group, (2) CS group (chronic stress). The chronic stress procedure lasted for 3 weeks.
