Title

Urinary metabonomic study using a CUMS rat model of depression

Overall design

In this study, a urinary metabonomics method based on the NMR spectrometry was used to study the metabolic perturbation in chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS)-induced rat depression model. Rats were divided into 2 groups (n = 6 in each group): (1) control group and (2) CUMS group. The CUMS stress procedure lasted for 3 weeks.
